Unemployment
The fact that I was unemployed and could do whatever I want during the day has lost its fun. The humor I found in so many applications sent out and the lack of responses that followed is no longer funny. I'm at a point now where it is really difficult to fill the days and I'm constantly checking my phone hoping an employer called. There is a website I frequent where I said that I would donate money to if I found a job. I posted that statement in May.

Don't be afraid to pick up some part time low skill work while job hunting, you've found it's not so easy to find werk in your field, you're going to need to keep funded if the worse holds out. Don't be afraid to do some interview etiquite and resume tip research either. Anything to help your chances. Remember you are nothing more than a piece of paper till the interview, and need to be confident and enthusiastic at an interview. That's bout all the help i can offer sir, wish i could do more.

I feel really confident with myself in an interview...the problem is getting to that point. I'll either get a part time job soon or I'll do Covance (Medical Testing).

Look on the bright side, after testing pills and such you'll have a good excuse for your small wiener and anal hemoraging

Sorry to hear that things aren't going to well on the job front. I actually had the same problem when I graduated in Madison, but things eventually worked out. I'm not sure what kind of field you're looking go get into but here's a link to a good company you might want to check out called Epic Systems.

http://www.epicsys.com/index.php

They work in the field of healthcare software design and implementation. The field itself is facing enormous growth as healthcare around the country is going paperless, and Epic is right in the middle of all that. I interviewed for a software testing position, but ended up being offered a project management position only to ultimately decide I was moving back to Chicago to go to grad school. From what I saw the place seems great, and thought you might like to check it out, since you seem to be having a rough time of it right now. Anyways, keep your head up man, and I hope this helps.

as ever,

Around graduation, Epic sent out letters to most of the graduates. This occured about 2 days after I applied for a job there. I didn't get it. I'm thinking about applying every couple of months though...I don't see how it could hurt.

Thanks for the advice and for reading.
